Plain-language terms for the rector-bot-alert license. The licensee is the named buyer on the license file.
-
One entity, one instance. The license covers a single legal entity (the licensee) operating one bot instance bound to one Discord application. The application is owned by the licensee, who is responsible for its use and for compliance with Discord's Terms of Service.
-
No resale or redistribution. The licensee may not sell, sublicense, share, publish, or otherwise distribute the program, the license file, or the distribution-repository access.
-
No reverse engineering. The licensee may not decompile, disassemble, or attempt to reconstruct the source code of the program.
-
Updates. While the product is supported, the licensee receives access to the private distribution repository and may download and run new releases.
-
Setup support. The purchase includes 30 days of setup support: installation help, license activation, one-time data migration from our hosting (if applicable), and configuration questions.
-
Termination. The license terminates on breach of these terms (including resale, sharing, or reverse-engineering attempts). On termination the distribution-repository access is revoked and the license ceases to be valid.
-
Moving hosts is allowed. The license is bound to the Discord application, not to a machine — the licensee may move the bot between servers freely.
Questions or a license reissue (for example, when switching to a different Discord application): contact support through the channel you purchased through.
